I treat myself to Harryman house about twice a year. I always look forward to their flavorful soups and their delicious entrees. Today, service was slow. I waited and waited to place an order. Food was served in reasonable time once ordered. Soup was excellent. I ordered steak & eggs for entree. Arrived on warm plate and I was eager to enjoy it. They commented that they needed to bring me a steak knife, then they forgot about me. I started on my other items and waited and waited . . . eventually had to remind them to bring my knife. I was finished w my entree for at least 10 minutes (likely longer) before my server asked if I'd like to see a dessert menu. I had planned to order dessert and coffee, but decided not to since service was so poor. This was an unusual visit. I've typically been very pleased with my food service, even on busy holidays. Today was an "off" day for one of my favorite local restaurants.
We always have a better experience at lunch time then we do it dinner time. Somehow when we go out for date night here we always get shoved at a two-person tight table all the way in the back and somehow look out with pretty terrible wait staff during dinner. On the bright side the food is always exceptionally delicious and we have had nothing but wonderful wait staff during lunch hour.
This place is full of character, good food, and good service. Parking is good. Lovely.
Nice upscale dining in Reisterstown. Menu updates frequently with seasonal dishes. Never disappointed.
Took my wife for valentine day we luved every minute of it. Definitely make a reservation cuz you will need it & don't forget to tip the waiter all around above excellent service. My wife and I cant wait to go back. Try the crab rice, totally delicious made to perfection!
